A Generator Transfer Switch Pilot Program for AmerenUE Residential Electric Customers
	Safe Connect is a rebate program for a system that is designed to provide safety in connecting a backup electric generator to your home’s electrical system. It’s primarily a generator transfer switch system.
	AmerenUE is offering a generous rebate on the purchase and installation of a Safe Connect system for backup generation. Between November 2, 2007, and July 31, 2009, AmerenUE residential electric customers can be eligible for a 50 percent rebate on the cost of a Safe Connect system with a maximum rebate of $500.
	AmerenUE created and is offering this program to help provide for the safety of our customers and line workers when customers install electric generators. The company does not profit from the Safe Connect generator pilot program.
