By choosing to enroll in Pure Power,
you agree to purchase blocks of power for $15 for each 1,000
kWh or to pay just a penny and a half more per kilowatthour
to support clean energy. AmerenUE then purchases
Green-e Energy Certified®
renewable energy certificates (RECs) from renewable energy facilities equal to your electric demand
or the number of Pure Power blocks you elected to purchase
each month.
Green-e Energy certification
guarantees that electricity from these renewable resources
is delivered to the Midwest power pool and retired on your
behalf.

year will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 22,000
