AmerenUE Proposed Energy Efficiency Programs for Business Customers
At AmerenUE, we have committed to providing our customers with clean, reliable energy, while helping them use energy efficiently—thus protecting and improving the environment and keeping costs down. Key to ensuring adequate future energy supply is our commitment to aggressively pursue energy efficiency programs that empower our customers to manage their energy costs.    A wide range of programs are planned for release as described below.
Business Customer Initiatives
	One program offers rebates for energy efficient electric products that are readily available in the marketplace.
	The Custom Rebate Program offers incentives based on calculated savings for specific custom projects.
	The New Construction Program will provide incentives for the design and construction of new buildings that meet stringent energy efficiency standards.
	The Retro Commissioning Program will improve the performance of energy-using electrical equipment in existing buildings by optimizing mechanical equipment and related controls.
	A Demand Credit Program will allow large customers to receive a credit for reducing their electrical demand during peak loads and as requested by UE.
	Through a Critical Peak Pricing and Smart Thermostat Program, a new thermostat will alert a customer when rates are highest and allow voluntary changes to reduce demand and lower bills.
