Boy Scouts Build American Bald Eagle Nesting Structure
May 3, 2008
On May 3, Boy Scouts from Troop 950 joined representatives from Ameren, Missouri American Water Company, the World Bird Sanctuary and an American bald eagle to see the bald eagle nesting structure the scouts built mounted on a new AmerenUE utility pole.
When weather permits, the pole and bald eagle nesting site will then be installed at the Missouri American Water Company’s water treatment plant in the Missouri River bottomlands where bald eagles are often observed.
